Mr. Lidington, a native of Willard, married the former Liz Gans, of Cambridge, on Sept. 23, 1967, in Circleville.
They are the parents of Brian Lidington, of Lakewood.
Mr. Lidington has practiced dentistry for 44 years. Mrs. Lidington is a former tax preparer.
A celebration will be held at a later date.
