Saying kid is hardly a cut on anyone. You just can't take it that Im right and provide links to data. As soon as I do that you and buckeye start chiming in. What, did I take your ball away from you on the playground?

arnmcrmn

Welfare hits new mark......1 Trillion in 2011. 30% increase since Obama took office. Welfare is the NEW lifestyle. Why work when they give you a check, a house a phone and pay for your utilities and cloth and feed you? The NEW American way....we should be so proud of our country.

betrump

Because all those programs were created by President Obama, right?

arnmcrmn

No just overly used and abused. Gotta give everyone a fair shot righhttttttt

rogerthat

Overly used because 3 decades of Reaganomics, 2 wars and the Bush tax cuts wrecked the economy and put people out of work.

arnmcrmn

Letting the Bush tax cuts expire is gonna save this country? Last time I checked small business owners are the ones, whom for the most part, are going to feel the brunt of any tax increase. What many fail to realize is that many small business have revenue throughout the year that well exceed 250,000. The Obamabots are programmed to think that anyone with a $250K price tag or over are the evil of this country. Never before has a president created such class warfare. You raise taxes in a stagnant economy and you will see yet another recession/depression......wanna bet?

Dr. Information

Small business owners like myself will feel the dagger known as "tax increases". As for the Bush tax cuts, are they really a cut anymore. This cut has been active for 10 consecutive years now, so when does the link to Bush get dropped? Obama has extended it what 2-3 times now. I just do not get the mentality of people these days. They want jobs, but do not want the people who are hiring to get any breaks. They think people like myself are running home each night with gobs of cash stashed in my pockets. The majority of business's who get tax breaks, reinvest in their own business by either upgrades in the facility, equipment or by hiring more people to produce more. Obama has really created such class warfare and its sad that he has done this to try and win another 4 years.

@ Dr. Information:

Mr. Obama got his 2% payroll deduction (Soc. Security) tax cut and still the economy chugs along at about a 2% GDP increase.

If marginal tax rates are raised on upper incomes, it's been estimated that the U.S. could see a 3% DECLINE in GDP, leaving us with a 1% decrease or recession territory.

See the Democrats infamous "Luxury Tax." It destroyed hundreds of employers and caused the loss of thousands of jobs; all in an attempt to "soak the rich."

Seems like the Dems never learn basic economics.

arnmcrmn

Lets look at Obama......He gets to the first debate without uttering a single specific idea about a second term, except that he wants “millionaires and billionaires” to pay their “fair share” and will have “more flexibility” when he doesn’t have to face voters.

That’s it. Unemployment, the debt and deficit, the Mideast meltdown — none of it burdens him. He ducks the terrorist attack in Libya as just another day at the office and the mounting death toll in Afghanistan as not his problem.

He’s happiest in front of adoring crowds and hanging with fellow celebrities — he actually called Jay-Z and Beyoncé “role models.” He told Letterman he didn’t know what the debt was, yet Letterman makes fun of you Mitt.

With his lousy record, all this gas would doom any other incumbent. But Obama gets away with it because his appeal has little to do with his performance. Author Shelby Steele, writing last year, concluded that Obama “flatters America to a degree that no white Republican can hope to compete with” and that his election “validates the American democratic experiment.”

Steele warned that this “cultural charisma” gives the president an unspoken edge. Thanks to the polls, it is no longer unspoken.

There is talk that, no matter who is president, America will be at war with Iran in 2013 and there will be a global recession. But Alfred E. Neuman Obama isn’t worried.

You shouldn’t be either, Mitt. Because unless you’ve got lightning up your sleeve, they won’t be your problems

@ Arnmcrmn: Wow ! What an essay. Here's hoping it is read, then re-read to make sure it is absorbed.

betrump

Sorry; what was that about copy and paste with google?

arnmcrmn

It was a read ya goon, a piece a person wrote that I liked.. Unlike you I can cite factual info without having google be my voice.

betrump

You call an opinion piece FACT, eh? Typical.

arnmcrmn

REading Comprehension skills...I said it was a piece written by someone else that I liked and is spot on.

betrump

@armcorn...you stated 'factual info' in your post above! Now it's opinion. Who needs reading comprehension again?

betrump

Sick of the stupidity about Libya. EVERYONE thought it was mob action. It was happening all over the mideast, and they were all up in arms about this silly movie. Our enemies used that confusion to their advantage. How were we to know within hours that it was a terrorist attack? It required an investigation, and required facts to be straight. Instead, you complain because maybe the President DID or DIDN'T call it a terrorist attack right away, and that it 'doesn't burden him?' I'm glad the President waited to get the facts. You just want our Commander-in-Chief to just arbitrarily go to war? You want someone like Romney with his finger on the button? Jumping to conclusions? Kinda like Bush and the Iraq War, no? Forget facts; attack now, and ask questions later? And to top it off, you and your hero politicize the deaths of four civil servants. How patriotic of you.

arnmcrmn

Nobody said anything about going to war, but when you have a head of the state official saying it was some random act because of a video, and then Hillary Clinton agreeing and then Obama taking 2 weeks to really say anything on it....yeah, this administration is a foreign joke. He went on the View instead and did a fundraiser with J Z to get more campaign funds...again hes a joke.

betrump

Thousands of US Soldiers died in the Iraq War based on false intelligence and jumping to conclusions. MY BROTHER was hit THREE TIMES by IED's, and has a purple heart and Bronze Star. ALL BECAUSE OF Republican stupidity. The only joke here is YOU.

arnmcrmn

Really.....funny because the majority Democrats and Republicans were on board to invade Iraq....go back and check your facts.

betrump

There you go with 'facts' again. Thought I gave you the definition? The entire premise of going to war was first that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. Secondly, it was Weapons of Mass Destruction. That all started as faulty or incomplete intelligence, and it led us to war thanks to a trigger happy President. But you endorse the same thing now. But I'm sure you'll be the first at the recruiting station.

arnmcrmn

Bipartisan support for the war......but I bet you forgot that.

betrump

Yes, bipartisan support for a war based on incomplete info and flat-out lies by the Bush Administration.

@ betrump:

So those smart Dems were fooled by that dummy Bush???

The Dems had the same Intel as the Pres.

The Dems were either co-conspirators or they were stupid - ya can't have it both ways.

Better see Vietnam and the lies that LBJ and the Dems told to get us into war.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gul...

Dr. Information

betrump, your lack of knowledge is really showing. The Bush's did not invent this bad intel. This intel was reported by undercover agents that were so infiltrated into the middle east world that nobody knew they were government moles. These people were not Republicans, nor Democrats, they were agents who have been working for OUR government well before Bush was in office. This intel was given to the administration and we acted on it.

betrump

No, YOUR lack of knowledge is evident. It was all a sham. People that were in the room when it was decided have gone public. Bush asked how to go to war with Iraq; he asked how to connect Hussein with 9/11. You must have missed when all that went public. They, in fact, did invent this bad intel. And they outed Valerie Plame because her husband called them out on it.

Contango

@ betrump:

So were Kerry, Clinton and others co-conspirators or just stupid?

Cliff Cannon

@betrump:If I live to be 100 I will never understand going to war with Iraq. My only conclusions was that Isreal wanted us there, as well as senior commanders wanted our forces real close to the real threat----Iran.

No matter, that despicible tragedy could not have happened with out the support of-- BOTH PARTIES.How the American military might has went from protecting our homeland to being an occupying army across the globe,I will never understand.Even worse, how can our military keep the Korean border closed, yet not our own ?

P.S. Praise God your bro' was "only" wounded. Monroeville's Jason Sparks in Sept. passed 8 years since his tragic death as well as this past June he would have turned 27. How sickening is that?

rogerthat

Who cares if he called it a hockey game? Politics at its nastiest. Republicans should be ashamed.

rogerthat

arnmcrmn: And yet Jay-Z and Beyonce are two of the people who you want to help by paying more tax so they can pay less. Looks like you only read and listen to people who are in line with your point of view.
