Love it! Some after being prodded acknowledged hand-outs to the Muck farmers.(migrant labout too) Many said not 1word when 3major employers in this conty left; some before Obama was elected. Many have not said anything to Terry Boose either. (our $$ to him/farm aid & or welfare) And some have cried about the airport. Of course its okay for the many to subsidise the few.

@ Zippy:

Thanks for reading and boring yourself. LOL

Good to read that you're a practicing masochist.

@ buckeye15:

So you have no retirement investments and will rely on the Washington kleptocrats for financial survival in your senior yrs.? Good to know. :)

Oil will remain an important energy source for several decades and to think otherwise is foolish.

BTW: When the Lefties were blaming the "oil men," Misters Bush and Cheney for high oil and gas prices, I was making similar statements about global demand. I "got it" LONG before you.

"Plutocrats"? The "banksters" led by Mr. Bernanke are helping to prop up this economy. Mr. Obama loves 'em.

The Washingtonian "plutocrats" simply made Too Big To Fail into Too 'Bigger' To Fail.

Enjoy your political fantasies.

Remember when Obama said $5.00 for a gallon of gas is ok in his mind, as long as we raise it slowly. Why would anyone who is "for the middle class" say such a dumb thing? There is a whole lot more to Obama than what you see. He wan't to see American fail.

@ buckeye15

Obama's mutual fund holdings are in the Vanguard FTSE Social Index fund.
List of oil companies included in fund:
Royal Dutch Shell
BHP Billiton
Suncor Energy
Petroleo Brasileiro
Canadian Natural Resources
PetroChina Co

The list goes on and on...
Obama is deep in oil stocks. Do your homework kid.

Why is natural gas so cheap right now?

One word: Fracking.
It has nothing to do with Obama being president.
When fracking for oil most oil companies simply view natural gas as waste. Again, do your homework kid.

Oh my, my. You really put me in my place calling me a kid and telling me to do my homework! I should be so humiliated.

Oh wait a minute....why are you giving me info about President Obama's portfolio?....and why natural gas is so cheap? I never made any comments about either of those things, other than to use gasoline and natural gas price trends to point out the ridiculous nature of the arguments of another poster. So the need for me to do homework or be called kid is a bit silly.

But perhaps you should do your homework. There are a number of factors involved in why natural gas fell to $2....only 1 of which is oversupply caused by fracking.

Oh, and by the way....the fracking boom in Ohio is almost dead. Don't believe me? Take a drive over to Carroll County Ohio, and start asking around. See what property owners are getting offered right now for drilling rights contracts...compared to what their neighbors were getting a couple years ago. Do your homework, kid.

And one more question. How do we know that Obama is invested in Vanguard FTSE?

@ buckeye15:

Lower offers for drilling rights? Supply-demand. Duh.

If 'only' the Dems would allow LNG sales to Japan and others.

Ontario has over 400 oil and nat-gas wells in and around Lake Erie. They've been drilling for several decades. Where's OH in this hunt for resources?

Obama's investments:

All ya gotta do is look at his published tax returns. Duh.

Don't let cold hard facts hit you in the butt on the way out.

Huh....who woulda ever thought a presidential candidate might release his tax returns.

Romney released 2 years. Showed he paid 57% in taxes last year.

I don't expect the left to understand this but in reality you cannot fudge tax numbers, what you pay in is what you pay in.

@ Bucky:

You ask for proof and 'still' you whine.

If the IRS is OK with both Mr. Obama's and Mr. Romney's tax returns, what business is it of yours?

And in last night's "debate," Mr. Obama once again 'crowed' about opening up more areas for oil production.

no reply from the cricket booth known as buckeye......surprise surprise.

I never saw anything that merited a response. Oh alright...the 57% did give me a pretty good chuckle.

Sitting In The ...

Ryan won.....WOW....okay....WOW...I saw Mr. Ryan get schooled by V.P. Biden and per usual the Romney camp have great ideas of "fixing" this nation yet they can't go into specifics....I wonder why that is?.

"Therefore, our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first."

~The Salt Lake Tribune (the Heart of Mormon Country)

The people of Massachusetts overwhelmingly support the President, as well. It seems the more you get to know Romney, the less you like him.

BTW, unemployment is officially DOWN in 41 states. Let the spin begin...

Seasonal shift and more people dropping out of the job seeking market.....I thought we already went over this kid. There is going to have to be hundreds of thousands of jobs gained every month to drop the rates to make it catch Americas attention.
