CRESTLINE - Cathy A. England, 56, of Crestline, died Tuesday at the Crestline Nursing Home.
She was born March 14, 1950 in Norwalk to the late Harold Fair and Mary (Lybarger) Shepard. She married James E. England on Dec. 11, 1976, and he survives her.
She worked as a teacher's aide, teacher's assistant and librarian at the Wilma Crall and North Schools in Galion for 16 years. She had lived in Crestline for the last five years moving from Galion. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Crestline. She loved bingo and working with children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, Becky and Kenny Tremmell of Crestline, Doug and Abby England of Chicago and Kadisha England of Crestline; two grandchildren; stepchildren, David and Chris England of Willard, Timothy England of Port Clinton, Karen and Charles Puzemis of South Lyon, Mich., Scott and Rachel England of Marblehead, Mark England of Chandler, Ariz., Mike England of Marblehead, Kathy England of Marblehead; a brother and two sisters, Richard and Jan Fair of Norwalk, Sue Chandler of Mansfield and Carol and Jerry Ferguson of Brokensword.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Berry and Brian England; a sister; and stepfather, Jack Shepard.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, where memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Mike Corwin will officiate.
Memorial gifts may be sent to the Hospice of North Central Ohio in care of the funeral home.
