NORTH FAIRFIELD Wilma May Parrott, 77, of North Fairfield, died Thursday at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born July 1, 1929 in Norwalk, daughter of the late Charles J. and Margaret M. (Parsons) Orphey and was a lifelong area resident, except for when she lived in Hemet, Calif. from 1968 to 1970.

She was a 1948 graduate of Norwalk High School. She was a former employee of the Five and Dime Store and Rotary Printing Company of Norwalk.

She was a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel Association and former member of North Fairfield Historical Society. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, crafts, her family and friends.

She married Howard Lee Parrott on April 12, 1952 in Norwalk, and moved to North Fairfield in the spring of 1956.

She is survived by her son, Brian Lee Parrott of Norwalk; a daughter, Linda Lee (Parrott) Reilly of Norwalk; five grandchildren and a stepgrandson; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Parrott in 2003; grandparents, Paul Orphey, 1908, and Katherine (Blazer) Orphey in 1945, who came from Bavaria, Schmittweiler, Germany; parents Charles Orphey in 1955, and Margaret (Parsons) Orphey in 1940; sisters, Marie P. Orphey in 1977, Catherine I (Orphey) Murdock in 1955, Dorothy M. (Orphey) Paker in 1994, Madel G. (Orphey) Eslinger in 1990, Marjorie J. (Orphey) Lewis Baker in 1976, Bernice V. Orphey in 2005; brothers, Robert D. Orphey in 1975, William E. Orphey in 1991, infant brother Joseph Orphey in 1924; and a grandson Adam Lee Parrott in 1990.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at North Fairfield Cemetery.

NORWALK Blanche Elizabeth (Bebout) Moore, 85, of Norwalk and formerly of Patterson Twp., died Thursday.

She was born Oct. 12, 1921 in New Brighton.

She was a former clerk for the treasurer's office of the Beaver County Courthouse. She was a 1940 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. She was a member of the Chippewa Alliance Church.

She is survived by her husband, Herman D. Moore, whom she married June 11, 1946; sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Marilyn Moore of Norwalk, Rev. Dr. Charles and Marilyn Moore of Dayton and David and Joy Moore of Hampton, Va.; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Otis Houp of Lexington, Ky.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Bosk of Beaver Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mae Milnes, Leora Bebout, Delores Wilson and Lilian Frederick.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Her pastor, the Rev. Thomas H. Ranney will officiate. Burial will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.
