VERMILION Edith "Edie" M. (McFarland) Davis, 62, of Vermilion, died Wednesday morning at her home.

She was born June 2, 1944 in Danville. She lived in Vermilion since 1972.

She retired from Norwalk Furniture June 2, 2006. She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). She enjoyed sewing, gardening and camping.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry Davis; a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Jeff Hamilton of Vermilion; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Melissa Davis of Vermilion; three grandchildren; brothers, Edward of Georgia, Dwight of Delaware, James and Jerry of Mt. Gilead and Carl of Edison; and sisters, Judith Phillips of Hilliard, Ethel Reynolds of Olive Hill, Ky., Sandra Ruhl of Huron and Luella Beckholt of Fredericktown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Beatrice (Clark) McFarland; brothers, Andrew and Henry; and sisters, Alice, Joan and Elaine.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. Sunday at Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights.
