MONROEVILLE Anita M. Miller, 62, of Monroeville, died late Saturday evening at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky following a brief illness.
She was born March 23, 1944 in Norwalk and was a 1962 graduate of Milan High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, where she was formerly a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and had volunteered for many years with the St. Joseph Bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles R. Miller, Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Bernadette and Russell Bishop of Monroeville and Veronica and Edward Wilhelm of Bellevue; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles R. Jr. and Paula of Shiloh, Eric P. and Jennifer of Willard, Andrew A. (special friend, Jamie Wolfe) of Kansas City, Mo., Joshua A. (special friend, Shelly Canode) of Monroeville, Jacob B. of Monroeville; and 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Mary Rose (Wagner) Hedrick; and aunts and uncles.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville. The Rev. Kenneth J. Lill will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
