ATTICA — Marvis Ann Weaver, 79, of Attica died Saturday afternoon at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.
She was born March 4, 1928 in Chatfield to the late Otis Irvin Bryan and Atta Marie (Ziegler) Heiser. She was married Oct. 12, 1946 to Harold Edward Weaver who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Union Pisgah United Methodist Church, Burton Memorial United Methodist Church in Florida and the Attica Historical Society, and a volunteer at the Mariners Hospital in Florida.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Leona Weaver of Attica, Kenneth and Michele Weaver of Attica, David Weaver and Cleah McKee of Fremont, Gary Weaver and Deb McIntyre of Toledo and Kevin and Susie Weaver of McKenzie, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Irvin and Wilma Heiser and Dennis Lee and Marilyn Heiser, all of Attica.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant brothers and a grandson, Michael Lee Weaver.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica.
