ATTICA Helen Frisch, 82, of Attica, died Saturday at Saint Francis Home in Tiffin.
She was born Aug. 21, 1924 to the late Martin and Clara Holmer Beat.
She worked at the Pioneer Rubber Company for more than 25 years and retired in 1989. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica, the Ladies' Altar Sodality, and very involved in Friends of the Library. She enjoyed playing Canasta, Euchre, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Frisch of Attica, whom she married June 1, 1946; sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Barbara Frisch of Attica, Gerald F. Jr. and Pam Frisch of New London and Nathan and Susan Frisch of Attica; daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Paul Vogt of Hilliard and Cecilia and Michael Fruth of Republic; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Lela Beat of California and James and Bobbi Beat of California; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Avery of California, Betty and Billy Rolland of California and Laura English of Toledo; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred (Maryann) Beat; and a granddaughter, Amanda Renee Frisch.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Home in Attica with the Rosary service beginning at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica. The Rev. Joseph Szybka will officiate. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
