SANDUSKY — Donald E. Morrow, 76, of Norwalk, died late Sunday evening in the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
He was born March 10, 1931 in Monroeville and was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He owned and operated the former Morrow’s IGA in Monroeville and Green Spring, retiring in 1988.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 547, Monroeville, the V.F.W. of Norwalk and the Norwalk Elks. He was an avid gardener and card player.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Pamela S. Parsons; a son, Tod (Marcia) Morrow of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Tia (Scott) Paul of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren; a brother, James Morrow of Monroeville; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara (Houk) Morrow; a sister, Grace Morrow; and his first wife, Elizabeth Williams Morrow.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky or to the American Legion Post 547, 8 S. Main Street, Monroeville, Ohio 44847.
