SANDUSKY — Kenneth H. Morrow, 86, of New London, died Monday at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
He was born Dec. 8, 1921 in Fitchville Township, son of the late Maurice and Mabel (Abbey) Morrow.
He had been a lifelong resident of Fitchville Township and was a 1939 graduate of New London High School. He had served in the Army during World War II.
He had farmed his entire life. He also worked for the former Norwalk Truck Line, then went to work for Midway Trucking in Monroeville, where he retired in 1970.
He was a member of the Fitchville American Legion. He attended the Fitchville United Methodist Church and the New London Alliance Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth R. (Krisha) Morrow, whom he married Aug. 31, 1949; his children, Linda Ward of Mansfield, Eric Morrow of New London, Ronald Morrow of Wakeman and Susan Shepherd of New London; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janis Chupp; and brothers, Harold, Lynn, Robert, Herbert, Carl and Wayne Morrow.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where a service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Doug Lang, pastor of the New London Alliance Church, officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Fitchville Cemetery.
