Lucille G. Silliman, age 82, of Willard, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, December 19, 2013. She was born on March 1, 1931, in Castalia, Ohio to the late Anthony and Olivia (Nesselhauf) Kromer.
She was known by friends as a compassionate and generous person. Lucille grew up in Castalia, Ohio and spent most of her married life in rural Plymouth. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She had a knack for remembering everyone's special days and sending out cards to celebrate them.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Randy) Chavez of Cincinnati, Ohio and Loriann (Steve) Reynolds of Lexington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Olivia, Nicholas, Anthony, Lindsay and Adam; three sisters, Frances Falter of Bellevue, Ohio; Alyce Jensen of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and Agnes Fitz of Castalia, Ohio.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Silliman, Jr.; five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Willard Christian Alliance Church with Pastor Jim Trainer officiating.
