NEW LONDON — Lillian I. Baker, 68, of New London, died Sunday at her home.
She was born Jan. 13, 1940 in New London, daughter of Floyd D. and Burnittia (Schafer) Murr.
She had been a lifelong resident of New London. She had worked at the former New London Hospital and at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, from where she retired in 1986.
She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to garden and fish.
She is survived by sons, Dale Myers and Brian and Sandy Myers of New London; a daughter, Burnittia (Bonnie) Kegley of New London; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and David Nelson of New London; and brothers and sister-in-law, Joe Murr of Bucyrus and Pete and Darrean Murr of Fitchville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale E. Myers in 1976; a son, Mark Myers; her second husband, Tom Baker; a brother, Frank Murr; and sisters, Emma Fife and Terry Murr.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London with the Rev. Doug Lang officiating.
Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
