Pamela Denise Wazny-Clark

Sep 14, 2013

On Saturday, September 14th, 2013, Pamela Denise Wazny-Clark was suddenly called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a tragic accident.

She is survived by her husband Mike, daughter Shelby Bleile (Adam), son Zach (girlfriend Jenna), grandchildren Preston and Bella, sisters Lili Markey (Steve) and Marlene Galarno, her father, Charles Chartier (Cheryl) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Thelma Willett and all of her grandparents.

Pam was a vibrant, thoughtful, and nurturing person who was born in Caribou, Maine on a cold winter night on January 12, 1955. She was raised in Au Gres, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.

Pam moved to Arizona for a few years and came back to Michigan to be with her family. She married Joe Wazny and moved to Midland where they raised their children Shelby and Zach.

She was an amazing mom who made so many beautiful memories for everyone. Holidays were always a big deal and birthdays were true celebrations.

She raised her children to have a strong faith in God. When her children were little, she led their Awana group at church, attended all of their field trips, made sure Shelby's hair was pretty, made certain that Zach's bottle was filled with chocolate milk, and went over the top in every aspect of motherhood. She loved taking them on moon rides and storm watches.

Pam was involved in every part of Shelby and Zach's lives and was loved by many of their friends. She coached Zach's basketball teams and hosted Shelby's high school New Year's Eve extravaganza parties. She remarried in 1997 to Mike Clark and moved to Ohio. They loved restoring older homes, antiquing and spoiling the grandchildren.

Pam worked as a Health Field Administrator her entire life and absolutely loved what she did. She always had parties for her employees and made work a joyful place to be.

Being a mom and grandma was the ultimate joy of her life. She spent as much time as possible having fun and making sweet memories with her beloved grandchildren Preston and Bella. Bella was her "mini me" as she called her. Pam's love was so strong that she and Mike bought a house where her grandchildren reside. She even had a license plate that read "GrmaTrk" (Grama Truck). She packed more grama memories into four years than most people pack into a lifetime.

Pam was the brightest light in all of our lives and her daughter's best friend. We love her to the moon and back a million times over, and we will miss her more than we could ever have thought possible.

Funeral services for Pam will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 from Calvary Baptist Church, 6100 Perrine Road, Midland, MI. Pastor Mike Reece will officiate with burial in Midland City Cemetery.

Pam's family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler Street, Midland, MI 48640 on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
