SANDUSKY — Kenneth E. Hoysak, 64, of Norwalk, died Thursday at Firelands Regional Medical Center’s Main Campus in Sandusky.
He was born Dec. 21, 1942 in Cleveland and was a graduate of South High School. He was a truck driver for 35 years. He was a Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of VFW Post 2743, American Legion Post 41 and Teamster Local 407.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Rosann Hoysak; sons, Kevin (Jennifer) Hoysak, Kurt (Tina) Hoysak; six stepchildren; five grandchildren; a sister, Frannie (Ron); and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mae and Joseph Hoysak.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, where a funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a military graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman. A luncheon will follow at the Norwalk American Legion.
