PLYMOUTH - Donald C. Crisp, 72, of Plymouth, died Tuesday at his home. He was born Nov. 16, 1935 in Allen, Ky, son of the late Jake and Fannie (Clark) Crisp, and had been a Plymouth resident since 1957.
He had been employed and retired from Buurma Farms in Celeryville after 47 years of service. He is a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis G. (Nester) Crisp, whom he married Oct. 12, 1957; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Debbie Crisp of Dabey, Fla., and Gregory and Kim Crisp of Plymouth; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gregory Adkins of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; stepsisters, Betty Owens of Clarksville, Tenn.; and Ann Combs of Cartilage, Ind.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step mother, Dallas Crisp; an infant son, Homer Lee Crisp; and a half brother, Bill Crisp.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Merlin Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
