Betty Arnold, age 79, of Greenwich, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk after a brief illness.
She was born May 6, 1934 in Helvetia, West Virginia, daughter of the late Edward and Gracie (McClougher) Kittle.
Betty moved to Greenwich when she was 16. She had worked at Festival Homes in Greenwich and retired from Pepperidge Farm, Willard in 1996.
Betty was a very devoted wife, having cared for her husband for many years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Betty was a member of the Ripley Church, Greenwich. She enjoyed gardening and visiting family in West Virginia. She is survived by her children, Gary (Paula) Arnold of Kendallville, Indiana, Sharon (Gary) Ramsey of Greenwich; 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; siblings, Grant Kittle, Franklin Franklin, Johnny Kittle, Nora Simons and Carol Ann "Julie" (Ray) Sanders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Arnold, her son, Gerald "Jerry" Arnold, son in law, Robert Ringler, sisters, Dorothy, Mable, Evelyn, Brothers, Margin, Walter and Charles.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
