Marlene Mae Rowe, age 63, of Plymouth, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Toledo after a short illness.
She was born January 21, 1950 in Willard, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Fern (Hopkins) Coffman. She had lived in Huron County most of her life. Marlene was a 1968 graduate of South Central High School. She was an artist for C.E. Ward, then worked at New London Regalia and Kent Sporting Goods all of New London. Marlene and her husband drove truck for Munson Transportation and she retired from ACMI in Norwalk. Marlene loved to crochet, knit, paint and do all kinds of crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Rowe, whom she married June 28, 1980; 3 children, Samantha Birckbichler of Chillicothe, Ohio, Thomas Rowe of Norwalk and Kandice (Kevin) Todaro of Seattle, Washington; 4 grandchildren, Brittany Canterberry, Kylie Rowe, Courtney Rowe and Bryan Jordan; 4 great grandchildren, Matthew Jordan, Asha Canterberry, Joseph Rowe and Landon Rowe; sisters, Barbara (Raymond) Augenstein of Greenwich, Betty (Marvin) Atherton of North Fairfield; brothers, Charles (Laura) Coffman of Norwalk, Darrell (Linda) Coffman of Greenwich and Rick (Sue) Coffman of Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich.
