HURON - Nancy Louise (Craft) James, 65, of Huron, died Monday at Fireland's Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
She was born on Sept. 19, 1941 in Manchester, Ky. to John and Mattie (Lewis) Craft. She was a 1957 graduate of Clay County High School and also attended Eastern State University in Kentucky. She married Bruce James on Aug. 16, 1961, and he survives.
She worked at New Departure/Delphi for 22 years, until her retirement in 1994. Following her retirement, she worked at Wal-Mart as a customer service manager for 11 years. She was a member of The Chapel and loved serving the Lord. She was known as a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bruce James; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Steve Dircks and Jessica and Raymond Enderle, all of Huron; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and LaTonya James of Berlin Heights; eight grandchildren and a great-grandson; a sister and brother-in-law, Hilda Ann and Billy Bowling of Manchester, Ky.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter M. and Helen Craft of Gary, Texas, Cecil J. and Elsie Craft of Manchester, Ky., and Tommy G. (Dee) Craft of Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie (Lewis) Craft; sisters, Loraine Craft, Callie Sibert, and Marietta "BB" Wilson; and a brother, John H. Craft.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Services will be officiated by the Rev. Bill Schroeder at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky. Interment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery.
