Frances K. Marie Greene, 65, of Gibsonburg, died Wednesday at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 4, 1942 in Cleveland to the now deceased Francis and Esther (Van Wagner) Organ. Kay was a 1959 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and graduated from the Tiffin Academy of Hair Design and Terra Tech. In April 1959, she married Charles D. Greene and he preceded her in death in March of 2005. She was a homemaker and a managing Cosmetologist.
She enjoyed giving to Christian charities. Years ago she worked in children's ministries with Harvest Temple and Assembly of God in Bellevue. She sang at church and played the violin and piano. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and painting.
She is survived by her children, Leslie Kay (Paul) Allard, of Milan, Stephanie K. Lorain (Brian Lee Waggener) of Norwalk, and Kevin Mark (Jill Marie) Brant of Hessville; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Brooks, Edward (Pat) Brooks and Van (Sharon) Brooks, all of Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Charles D. Greene, Jr. (1997) and Jonathan Haden-Blair (2004); sister, Ruth Ann Biller and an infant brother, Danny.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg. Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Lewis officiating.
