UTICA -- A celebration of life service for Anthony Wayne Robinson, age 62, of Utica, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Faith United Methodist Church, 261 East Main Street, Newark, with Pastor Jeff Perry officiating. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery.

Mr. Robinson passed away April 30, 2013 due to injuries from an auto accident. He was born November 5, 1950 in Willard to the late Wayne and Mary Robinson.

Wayne was a graduate of Willard High School. He had worked with the B & O Railroad, retiring after 15 years as a brakeman. He also worked part time in the plumbing trade, as the owner of Robinson's Plumbing in Newark. In 1999, he went to work full time in the maintenance department of Anheuser Busch in Columbus. Wayne was a member of Faith United Methodist Church since 2001 where he participated in the Mission 4 Gospel Group and the Praise Band as a bass guitar player. He was a life member of OSTA and a member of Broken Arrow Archery. Wayne was a member of the Professional Song Writers Association having a song he wrote licensed "Rainbow Roses and You". He was also an artist having a coloring book published "Space Nerks". He enjoyed the woods and outdoors; especially bow hunting. He will be remembered as a jokester to all.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. (Pound) Robinson; daughters, Jessica (Jeffrey) Young of St. Louisville and Krissy (Chad) Lees of Utica; step-son, Shannon Jeromy (Christine) Zigan of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; grandchildren, Dakota, Crew, Ryleigh and Karleigh; step-grandchildren, Dakota, Kyla, Jeromy, and Shaynee; two brothers, Jerry (Cindy) Robinson of Willard and Ricky Robinson of Mansfield; sister, Irene Robinson of Toledo; and former wife, Betty Hamm of Newark.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. today, (Thursday, May 2) at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark.
