Robert L. Gravely, 79, died March 12, 2013 at Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
Born on July 2, 1933, in Oak Hill, West Virginia. He lived in North Fairfield for many years.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a truck driver most of his life.
Robert was a member of the American Legion, Gibson Lodge 301 F&AM in Wakeman and the NRA.
He enjoyed fishing, flea markets and old westerns.
Robert is survived by his children, Sandra (William) Newsome and Robert Gravely; stepchildren, Hope Needles, Penny Porter, Bobby Mcghee, Sherrill Cutlip, Jack Mcghee and Sheila Hensley; 5 grandchildren; many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Beatrice Gravely and wife, Ellen Gravely.
Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 15th at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Fitchville Cemetery with military rites.
