Allen Victor Gordon

Allen Victor Gordon, age 86, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully Friday, March 8, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.

He was born February 15, 1927 in Wellington, OH to the late Harold and Mary Gordon. He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Navy See Bee's 1943-1944.

He retired from Mid West Industries in 1992 and previously was employed as a milkman for Willard Dairy and was a member of the Odd Fellows in New Haven. He enjoyed his retirement playing golf at Woody Ridge in Shelby and Cranberry Hills in New Washington.

He is survived by five children; sons, Robert Gordon and Michele of Ridgecrest, CA; David and Valerie Gordon of Stilwell, KS; Todd and Juana Gordon of Norwalk; daughters, Jody Kolb of Sumter, SC and Patty Gordon of Jacksonville, FL; a sister Namoi Koons of Ashland; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Gordon; sister Genevieve Wacker; brother, Weldon Gordon; and his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Allen's memory to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. The family would also like to thank the ICU staff at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

I will miss Al - a great neighbor! He gave me some good gardening tips and some great recipies! I'll bet heaven has some wonderfull golf courses. Best to his family.
