BELLEVUE - Mary Margaret Sherman, 80, of Bellevue, died Sunday at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 20, 1927 in Gibsonburg to the late Harold and Helen (Corwin) Harrington. She married Carl D. Sherman June 15, 1947, in Fremont.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellevue. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and watching sports, specially the Ohio State Buckeyes, cooking, watching cooking shows on television, and caring for her cat, "Spook."
She is survived by her husband, Carl D. Sherman of Bellevue; sons and daughter-in-law, Leslie C. and Nancy Sherman and Brian D. Sherman, both of Bellevue; a daughter, Diane M. Patten of Bellevue; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a niece of Lindsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Florence Henry.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Foos & Son Funeral Home; 311 W. Main St.; Bellevue, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Mark Bogen of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Norwalk will officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
