Betty Louisa Williams

Betty Louisa Williams, age 66, of North Fairfield, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

She was born November 20, 1946 in Bellevue, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Edna (Seville) Nebergall. She had lived in North Fairfield since 1972.

Betty was a 1965 graduate of Crestview High School.

She had worked at West Baking and the former Fanny Farmer both of Norwalk, MTD and Gamani Crust both of Willard.

Betty helped organize the North Fairfield Haunted Hayride and baked for the many bake sales held in town.

Betty was a reliable wife, homemaker, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Ben) Gahring of North Fairfield, Barbi (Doug) Fidler of Shelby, Steffany (Calvin) Conaway of Greenwich; grandchildren, Kali (Levi) Beck, Dustin (Tara) Gahring, Alix, Cori and Maddi Fidler, Tristan (Kevin Hart) Conaway, Karlie and Cameron Conaway, great grandchildren, Mya Inmon, Caden Gahring, Leland Hart and Landin Hart who is due in June; her siblings, Clara Willey of Greenwich, John (Janet) Nebergall of New London, Jim (Nancy) Nebergall of Hayesville, Tom (Elaine) Nebergall of Delphi, Indiana, Sally (Jim) Eagle of Adario, Janet (Don) Nalley and Don (Karen) Nebergall all of Ashland, Dennis (Loa) Nebergall of Willard, Martha (John) Landis of Adario; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty died with her loving husband, Rodney Williams, whom she married July 17, 1965, also preceded in death by her brother in law, Luie Willey.

Friends may call from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 State Route 162 West, New London, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at North Fairfield Cemetery.
