PLYMOUTH - Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Fields, 48, of Emerson, Ga. and formerly of Plymouth, died unexpectedly from a water accident Wednesday in Emerson.
He was born July 3, 1958 in Jamestown, Ohio. He was a 1976 graduate of Plymouth High School. He had lived in the Plymouth and Greenwich area until he moved to Georgia in 1985. He was a self-employed painting contractor in Georgia. He lived and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved boating and being on the water.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Chanda and Aaron Goon of Blacklick, Ohio; sons, Tyson Fields and Cody Fields, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; two granddaughters; mother, Ellen Jane Dumbaugh of Mt. Gilead; father, Charles Fields of Austell, Ga.; a brother, Tim Fields of Hatton, N.D.; and sisters, Karen Dawson and Sheila Kennard, both of Lexington.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich, and from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ripley Church, 4130 S. Edwards Road, Greenwich, where Pastor David Cobb will officiate.
Burial will follow in Edwards Grove Cemetery.
