STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. Marjorie Ann Slate-Crawley, 70, died Thursday at Heartland Hospice.
She was born in Wagram, N.C. and was a homemaker all her life.
She was the daughter of James Aubrey Slate and the late Mary Elizabeth Carmichael of Norwalk, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jean Crawley-Walker of Stockbridge; a son, Hugh Malcolm Crawley of Norcross; brothers, James A. Slate, William O. Slate and Ronald A. Slate Jr.; sisters, Helen V. Mihalek and Arlene E. Cahill of Ohio; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dale Crawley, whom she married Jan. 28, 1956.
Friends may call today at the home of Sandra Walker. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.
The Cremation Society of the South at Eagles Landing in Stockbridge is in charge of arrangements.
