SEVEN HILLS - Sharon O'Connor-Kassnel, 54, of Seven Hills, died Sunday at Parma Community Hospital after a short illness.
She was born June 4, 1953 in Cleveland.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School and Cuyahoga Community College cum laude.
She is survived by her mother, Agnes Dyczkowski of Norwalk; children, Mark (Brigitte) Kassnel of Brunswick and Stefanie Kassnel of Brunswick, fiance Norman Reid of Seven Hills; brothers and sisters, Kevin (Melissa) O'Connor of Avon Lake, David (Lori) O'Connor of Elyria, Dennis O'Connor of Norwalk, Kenneth O'Connor of Lorain, Kathleen (Gordon) Brown of Norwalk, Ann Marie (Kenneth) Thomas of Lorain, Joseph Dyczkowski of Tacoma, Wash. and Gregory (Rose) Dyczkowski of Avon Lake; and two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert O'Conner; stepfather, Paul Dyczkowski; and a nephew, Michael Thomas.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville (new location) three-fourths of a mile south of Ohio 82. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville. Burial will be private.
