Gary A. Leak, 70, of rural Willard, died December 4, 2012 at his home.
He was born on May 12, 1942, in Willard, son of the late Arthur and Merle (Burras) Leak.
Gary graduated from Greenwich High School in 1960. He worked 14 years at RR Donnelley in Willard. Gary also worked for Gahring Construction helping to build several area churches and Janotta and Herner from 1989 until retiring in 2003.
He was a member of the Christian Alliance Church in Willard and the Car Coddlers of Ohio. Gary enjoyed cruising in his 1966 Cadillac convertible.
Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan (Duley); daughters, Karen (Michael) Kluge of Willard and Kate (Bob) Brutcher of Norwalk; son-in-law, Tom Wolfe of Willard; grandchildren, Hannah and Haley Kluge and Logan, Mason and Griffin Brutcher. He is also survived by his sisters, Gert (Ben) Keefer of Willard and Nancy (Don) O'Dell of New London. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Joy Wolfe on November 30, 2012 and brother, Billy Leak.
Gary's family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Christian Alliance Church, 1609 Conwell Avenue, Willard where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday with Rev. Jim Trainer and Rev. Bart McKelvey officiating.
