Lorena E. Wilber, 92 and residing in Norwalk, passed away early Monday morning at Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a brief illness.
Lorena was born in Kimball, OH. on August 13, 1920 to the late Frank and Cora Barber.
She was a 1938 graduate of Monroeville High School and worked for 20 plus years at the Falhaber's Manufacturing Company. In her spare time, Lorena enjoyed puzzle books, watching television, and spending time with her family.
Lorena is survived by her children, Connie (Ron) Hovatter, of Norwalk, Lynne Barnhart, of Florida, Larry (Sara) Wilber, of Sandusky, and Charles (Rose) Wilber, of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other relatives.
Including her parents, Lorena is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Wilber, in 1967; her infant granddaughter Cassandra; her brothers, Leonard, Norman, and Alvin Barber; her sister, Naomi Crawford, and her son-in-law William Barnhart.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 5 to 8 at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky OH. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron
