Mildred A. (Stump) Freeman, 70, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was surrounded by her family and friends. Mildred was born in Gilmer County, West Virginia, September 29, 1942 to the late Holly P. and Edna (Summers) Stump and at an early age moved to Ohio with her parents. She was living in Vermilion, Ohio when she met her future husband, Bobby A. Freeman. They were married for 53 years.
Mildred has three wonderful children, Michael, Michele, and Julie, eight grandchildren, all of whom she was very proud. In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, Mildred is survived by her sister, Manoka Morgan and many nieces and nephews. She was an excellent homemaker, wife, and friend.
Mildred was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Stump, and by her sister, Carol Kaminski.
Memorial services will be announced by her family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwalk Salvation Army, 55 Whittlesey Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio, or to the Autism Society, 4340 East-West Highway, Suite 350, Bathesda, Maryland, 20814.
