SHILOH - Anna E. Caskey, 90, died Monday.
She was born Oct. 1, 1916, in West Liberty, Ky., to the late Burns and Crilda (Maxey) McGuire, she had been a resident of Shiloh most of her life.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, traveling to Kentucky to visit longtime friends and going to church. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed cooking for her family. Her greatest passions were serving the Lord, knowing Jesus as her savior and time spent with her family. She cherished every moment. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Rex Collins of Dayton, Wanda Lewis of Shelby and Loretta and Herbert Smith of Shiloh; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister; and a son-in-law, Sylan Lewis on April 27, 2007.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the Messiah House of Prayer Church, 74 Pettit St., Shiloh, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Bill Howell will officiate. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh.
