WILLARD Gennifer Lou (Collins) Jordan, 34, of Willard, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital of Willard after a valiant fight to overcome Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

She graduated from Willard High School in 1991 and attended North Central State College for three years, graduating in 1995 with a Licensed Practical Nursing certificate. She loved the geriatric generation and worked at Twilight Nursing Home in Norwalk for three years. She later worked for Willard Healthcare and Gaymont Nursing Home in Norwalk until she was too sick to work anymore.

She was always assisting a neighbor or relative with a medical problem and she wanted to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse and then a nurse midwife.

She was a member of the Willard Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her 13 year-old-son, Michael Collins; parents, Kathy (Tim) Kilgore of Willard and Billy J. (Phyllis) Collins Sr. of Attica; a brother, Billy J. (Cheri) Collins Jr. of Bellevue; a half-brother, Travis Mullins of Sullivan; stepsisters, Rachel (Michael) Adams of Solon, Alethea Kilgore of Florida, and Maria (Faycal) Banny-Maroufi of Shelby; stepbrothers, David Brown of Shelby and Jason (Stacy) Brown of Indiana; her maternal grandmother, Geneva Parrigan of Plymouth; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, one nephew, two nieces and two great-nephews.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Rachel and Willie Collins of Willard and Leon Parrigan of Plymouth; and a brother, Bradley Scott Collins, who died in infancy.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Little Rebecca Church in Plymouth, where a service will take place at 6 p.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, with interment to follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Elder Buddy Carty will officiate the church arrangements.

DOROTHY A. SCHULER

SANDUSKY Dorothy A. Schuler, 79, of Sandusky, died early Wednesday afternoon in Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

She was born July 6, 1927 in Sandusky and was a 1945 graduate of Sandusky High School. For more than 35 years, she with her husband, James, owned and operated Schuler's Jewelry, retiring in 1985. Prior to that, she had worked at Tieche's Jewelry Store. She enjoyed traveling, playing solitaire, collecting sea shells and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Italian-American Beneficial Club, Moose Club, Sandusky Elks Lodge, and Sandusky Orioles Club.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James K. Schuler, whom she married May 30, 1953; daughters, Beth A. Schuler of Nashville, Tenn. and Jill R. Schuler of Ft. Collins, Colo.; one granddaughter of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Joseph and Norma Hilda (Huber) Schell.

At the request of the family, no visitation will be held. A private graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
