 Foreman, Kent Douglas Sr. of Spring Arbor, passed away peacefully at his home on September 15, 2012.

Kent was surrounded by his family as they shared stories of their lives with him. Kent lived just a short 49 years on this earth and will celebrate his next birthday with God and those loved ones who have passed before him. Kent was a leader, mentor, and friend to many. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and cousin.

Kent was the oldest of three children born to Howard and Dona Foreman on November 11, 1962 in Wellington, OH. He grew up in Ohio where he was an avid wrestler and football player during his high school days.

Upon his graduation from Norwalk High School in 1981 he attended Capital University in Columbus, OH. Kent worked in the restaurant industry most of his life, which led him to Jackson in 1992, where he met his wife of 19 years, Michelle Foreman. Most recently Kent worked at Eaton Aerospace, where he loved working alongside his father-in-law.

Most recently Kent worked at Eaton Aerospace, where he loved working alongside his father-in-law.

Whether it was grilling a massive feast for the family, fishing, traveling, or taking in a Tigers or Michigan State game, Kent loved spending time with his family, Kent leaves behind a trail of tears and grief with those left to mourn him.

Kent is survived by his loving wife, Shelle Foreman; his six children, who he adored and was so very proud of, Kent Jr., Kraig, Kevin, Kelsey, Katelyn, and Kyle; three grandchildren, Kaiden, Koral, and Konnor; his mother, Dona Foreman; two sisters, Debra Foreman of Jackson, and Kristine (Paul) Foreman-Fiser, of Clyde, OH; special cousins, Chip and Kim Foreman, also of Clyde, OH; father and ,mother-in-law, Randle and Patricia Riddle. Kent is also survived by seven brother and sister-in-laws, numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Howard Foreman; special aunts, Dorothy Foreman Farrell and Jacquelyn Slanczka; grandparents, Clair and Betty Greenwald, Raymond and Virginia Foreman, Lendon and Norma Riddle, and Charles and Harriette Swaenepoel. Kent was also preceded in death by his Uncle John Riddle, of Horton, MI, with whom he shared a special camaraderie as they both battled their own illness.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Bible Methodist Church, 401 Comstock, Jackson, MI, 49203. Burial will follow at Roseland Memorial Garden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home, 1806 East Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI.
