Scott Alan Brinker, 49, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Honolulu.
Scott was born May 3, 1963 in Tecumseh, Michigan. He was raised and attended school in Norwalk, Ohio.
In 1982 Scott moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he worked as a sales representative. He lived in Hawaii for the last 6 years where he enjoyed the climate and sunshine. In 1979 Scott won the Ohio High School Power Lifting state championship. He is survived by his mother, Nancy (Wilcox) (Brinker) Wolter and step father, Howard J. Wolter of Norwalk, Ohio, and brother, Mark Brinker of Charlotte, North Carolina. Scott is also survived by his uncle, Alan Wilcox, of Norwalk, Ohio, by his stepbrothers, and wives, Eric (Liz) Wolter of Belvidere, Illinois, and John (Ann) Wolter of Woodbury, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Thelma (Siebert) Wilcox who helped raise him.
A memorial gathering will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Private burial services will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later time.
