Frank Charles Nedveski died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 28, 2012 while visiting his daughter, Judy, in Michigan.
He was born December 15, 1921 in Dillonvale Ohio of Eastern European parents, Annie (Simkovich) and Frank Nedveski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret, brother Walt Baer and sister Margaret Malonek.
He is survived by his son, Frank (Joyce) Nedveski, II, daughter Judy (Ted) Wright, grandchildren Lauren and Nathan Nedveski and Jason (Jackie) Cutsinger, sister Vera (Joe) Cusick, Bertha (David) Leonard, Barbara (Joe) Jacobs and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was a retired Ohio State Highway Patrol Captain, WWII (Battle of the Bulge) Army Veteran, VFW lifetime member and 32nd Degree Mason.
The family wishes to acknowledge the Bikoski and Ferron family of Dillonvale Ohio and good friends, Arthur Panepucci, Jay Stock, Norb, Jan and Harold Simon, Vonda Spiegel (his Wednesday card club), Bob Cunningham, John and Audrey Borgia along with his supportive neighbors.
Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who will miss his story telling.
Friends may call on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. James Auth will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, who were so supportive during his wife Margaret’s illness.
