DEFIANCE -- Mary F. Robson, 89, of Montpelier, died late Wednesday night at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance.
She was born on February 21st 1923 in Sandusky, Ohio to Thurman and Katherine (O'Neal) Fox. On May 31st 1947 she married George E. Robson in Sandusky, Ohio and he preceded her in death.
At one time Mary worked at Airmate Company at the Bryan Airport. She also at one time worked at the Bryan K-Mart in the fabric and material department.
Mary was a member of the Bryan Church of Christ and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary in Bryan.
Mary is survived by two daughters Iris Harlow of Milan, Ohio, Alice Jean and husband Ray Rogers of Delphi, Ohio, three sons Dick and wife Jane Bellamy of Sandusky, Ohio, Pat and wife Sharon Robson of Findlay, Ohio, Michael and wife Susan Robson of Montpelier, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, two brothers Emery and Charles Fox both of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George in September of 2002, one daughter Shirley Cihy in 1973, four sisters and four brothers.
Visitation hours for Mary will be on Sunday, August 26th from 2-6 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will be on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Snavely to officiate. Interment will follow at Shiffler Cemetery in Bryan.
