DUNEDIN, Fla. — Francis Henry Cooper, 70, of Dunedin, Fla. and formerly of Norwalk, died Monday at home.
He was born in Norwalk, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1957.
He was a veteran of the Army serving from 1954 to 1956.
He was a retired regional sales manager and recently assistant to the president of Hopco Food Service. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes; Kiwanis; past president of Dunedin Jaycees; a former commissioner for the City of Dunedin; and other civic and church related activities.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Cooper; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tracey Cooper of Dunedin; a step son, Jonathan (Julie) Lockman of Jacksonville, Ill.; step daughter, Sonnie Huntington of Dunedin; four grandchildren; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Jeanne Cooper of Sault St. Marie, Mich. and Charles and Barbara Cooper of Tiffin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Dunedin, Fla. Burial at 2 p.m. in the Florida National Cemetery.
