ATTICA - Beatrice "Bea" Fry, 92, of rural Attica, died Tuesday at Willard Mercy Hospital.
She was born on January 16, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minn. to the late Eli and Beulah Rocheleau.
She graduated from Willard High School in 1936. She worked at Midwest Electric as a secretary for 15 years. She was a former member of the Huron County Fairboard; Rebekah Lodge and a 25-year adviser of the Huron County 4-H. She was a world class seamstress, having won the Ohio Grange Sewing Contest.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Ann Fry of Willard, Robert and Margaret Fry of Willard and Donald and Sharyn Fry of Norwalk; daughters and a son-in-law, Marilyn and Robert Berberick of Plymouth and Shari Fry of Willard; eleven grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. Fry Sr., whom she married April 30, 1934 and who died Jan. 7, 1979.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Paul Capelle, a friend of the family, officiating. Burial will follow in Attica-Venice Cemetery in Attica.
