Driver and passenger taken away in handcuffs.
How does that happen?
35mph sign...housing development...I wondered the same thing? Seeings how there is another car involved, were they racing? Road rage? Looks like a little field sobriety check too.
They are doing a sobriety test so either they were drunk, (which he looks way to young to be drinking) or they were drag racing and one lost control.
Generally sobriety check points start around 9:00 pm.... I'm thinking they were drag racing.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
@ispsp - I'm thinking he's getting a sobriety check because he rolled his car, not because it was a sobriety checkpoint.
I was the driver of the "second car" and no I was not racing, speeding, or drunk. I don't drink, I have a perfect driving record, and you can forget about road rage. I was almost hit by that car as it just about rolled right into me. I helped those boys out of their car and stayed with them until help arrived. The officer in that picture is simply thanking me and asked me to fill out a witness statement. So how do you all feel now for jumping to the worse conclusion? Really? Wow.
Ok. That answers the drag racing question. But how do you ROLL your car on a street doing 35 mph? I completely understand your witness statement and being thanked for your help. I still do not understand how they could have THAT kind of accident on a street under those conditions.
They were speeding and went off their right side of the road and hit a bunch of mailboxes then over corrected by swerving all of the way over to the other side of the road, took out another mailbox, hit a curb which caused the car to launch, while pulling the wheel back to the right and caused them to roll. I was directly in front of them when it happened, they landed like two feet in front of me.
Were you speeding to keep up with them, or were they coming toward you ?
Norwalks finest citizens strike again. derp da derp.
It's always good to be a defensive driver. You are either good at it or not. Glad nobody was playing outside or other cars were involved. Good job funlovingma
I used to live right around the corner. Not sure what was going on here.
