It wasn't bad, glad I could help. Thanks to the people who brought the trucks and trailers to make this cleanup possible.
I read on someone else's post, I forget where it was. That person said and I forget their exact words, but it was something to the effect of: "I have been alive for over thousands of hours, why not donate a couple of hours."
Thanks also to THE CHAPEL, and other area churches for sending groups out in trucks to help with storm clean up...
I think this was a wonderful idea, neighbor helping neighbor, I am a little concerned though that this might have been a "photo opp" for many of our local politicians... I see lots of elected officials standing around, with their hands in their pockets while the Mayor is reading them the local needs, and then I do NOT see any of them actually carrying limbs, or removing any yard waste from any local locations. I hope that this was just an oversight by the photographer, and was not the way it really played out...
Agree with you Swiss.....did I just say that? I did wonder the same thing.
now I am worried.. I know I have agreed with you somewhere recently, and now you agree with me?? isn't that the 7th sign of the apacolyps????lol
Swiss and TJ
Did either of you help?
What is the world coming to Swiss? You ready to sit down and have coffee together? @Kat My neighborhood was hit pretty bad, so I have been busy cleaning up my own property. I did lend out my truck for people to haul debris. Thanks for your concern.
Thank you for your help.
And God bless you
