Rainwater cascading over the Norwalk upper reservoir spillway. Now, that's a storm.
I remember the many days of rain around July 4, 1969 when part of the reservoir wall on Old State Road gave way.
The upper reservoir emptying totally and the water rushing thru the creek. Some friends and I drove to Milan and watched the water gushing over the Rte. 250 area of Milan. The water heading toward Lake Erie.
Norwalk lost electric service for about 5 days. The telephone service remained on.
We were lucky yesterday my friends.
