With the Shamrock Tavern gone, Dave Weisenberger thought it would be a good idea to move the celebration could move to the Norwalk golf course.

“We wanted to get permission from the Schaffers, so a few weeks ago we talked with them and they liked the idea so we decided to do it,” said Weisenberger, Eagle Creek director of golf and operations. “Basically, we thought this was worth a try. I think it has got potential.”

The celebration lasted from Friday through Sunday.
