Demolition of house at 33 Jefferson St. is being funded through a Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant the city received from Lorain County, which had leftover funds.

Workers from Sonic Hauling Ltd. out of Republic are shown razing the house Wednesday morning.

Recent house demolitions on Woodlawn Avenue and Vandercook Street also were funded through that grant.

Would like to see more raising and less razing in Norwalk.
