Norwalk High School sophomore Geena Freriks arrived at Pleasant Elementary School in a Norwalk fire truck with a police escort Thursday for a send-off before her trip to the state swim meet this weekend.
The previous day, St. Paul junior Gabe Dauch received a send-off of his own. He, too, is competing at this weekend's meet.
