No injuries have been reported after fire erupted at one of the Midwest's biggest greenhouse operations in Camden Township, about 18 miles east of Norwalk at U.S. 20 and Ohio 511..
Lorain County officials said someone called in to report the fire around 5:20 Tuesday night.
Firefighters from 12 departments, including Wakeman, helped to tackle the intense flames at Ohio's Green Circle Growers.
Overnight, smoke could still be seen billowing from the greenhouse. An office, seed house and 25 greenhouses were burned. The main office off of U.S. 20 and all of the greenhouses in the front of the complex were untouched. All of the fire was contained to the back of the property. Cars filled the parking lot at the main office and it appeared to business as usual before 8 this morning.
