Pictures posted of 'An Elegant Evening in Norwalk'

1964: The Tribute, known as “the best Beatles tribute on Earth,” entertained about 500 people Saturday night during the 12th annual “Elegant Evening for the Arts” at the Ernsthausen Performing Art Center in Norwalk.

The gala raised money for The Endowment Fund for Norwalk City Schools.

A story about the event was published in Monday's Reflector. To read the story, pick up a copy of that issue or subscribe to the e-paper for less than $1 per week and read it now.

"Contributions to The Endowment Fund will be professionally invested and remain untouched."

Anyone got a link to an annual statement? This should be public.

Awesome evening
Elegance for a worthy cause
Why would one need or want to know
Trusting you were a major contributor, as your reason for wanting to know.

Call Patrick Martin as ftmh is the sponsor.

“Trust” is earned, not given. Charitable contributions require transparency and due diligence.

Do you actually have a link, or should I "trust" that any response from you will contain your usual nonsense and/or childish invectives?

Why wait 12 years to inquire

I fail to see how longevity and transparency are related.

Merely asking how, where and by whom funds are "professionally invested" is obviously a problem for some.

Pres. Reagan: "Trust, but verify."

Or, as the old grizzled newspaper editor told the cub reporter: IF your mother says that she loves you - check it out.

They over 20,000 dollars in scholarships last year
Kids that might not have able to further their education otherwise
Didn't hear that the checks bounced
Should have gone and asked the questions.
I will see if I can get some information

Only $20K?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Still doesn't answer my basic question and per usual, you continue to miss THE POINT.

I donate to SPH and have for yrs.

Annual report is on-line. Not difficult "in the least" to find.

'An Elegant Evening in Norwalk' to me is watching John Stamos with Jessie and The Rippers on Full House with nothing but the glare of the television and the smell of vanilla candles.

And the reason I didn't attend an elegant evening in Norwalk was because I got together with my friends from the Shakespeare club to rehearse our skit
