Jackel, Prove to me how exactly are these people who are marching for what they believe in being hypocrites?

JACKEL
Mon, 01/21/2013 - 2:39pm

Very simple, because the majority of them support The Abortion at Will Party. Not only do they support it,they hold office in it.One of them even had the audacity to wear a KOC Uniform in the parade in past years..You can 't have it both ways,I doubt if it worked for Hitler. He was the biggest mass murderer in history until now !

There are tens of millions of children whose lives were destroyed in abortion, and those lives will never have chance to march in a Right to life parade.

who do you have to go to, and what kind of permit do you have to have , to hold a "parade" and close off Main street???? would the KKK be allowed the same right to close off Main street for their march? how about "skin heads"?? If I were to gather people who are tired of the slap on the wrist Justice that our current law team is providing. can I also close off Main street for that march???

Swiss, if you would like to march on Main street, please feel free. Just let us know when you're going to do it so we can all be there.

The Declaration of Independence mentions some basic "inalienable" rights as: "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness."

At what age in human development should those "rights" begin to be protected by the govt.?

It has been decades since we had all the rights the founding fathers expected us to keep.

@ spoiled3 : Considering, the number of ways there are to look at abortion. I am " pro-mind my own business " on this topic.

Still, I believe your comment tells an amazingly accurate story of the human race: Most people will not stand up for what they believe. Regardless, of what they believe.

In my opinion, you are very wise. Thanks for sharing

Perhaps the mayor could answer you questions
Covered under the freedom to assemble clause just maybe

swiss family
Tue, 01/22/2013 - 9:33pm

with all due respect.. I think that freedom of assembly is one thing.. especially if you are assembling inside or even outside in one location. To close off Main street in both directions for a cause seems like something more than freedom of assembly to me.

Swiss, Today I seen a opinion cartoon that may help you to understand why those people were marching.
In it you have a bunch of babies looking down from heaven at the celibrations of Roe v Wade.
The one in front says "There are 55,000,000 of us that will not get to celibrate 40 years."

Wed, 01/23/2013 - 11:42pm

propman... what are you talking about???? did I say I didn't understand why people were marching?? No I did NOT.. I know why they are marching and protesting.. my question is how do you get to close off all of Main street to march about anything????what causes are able to get the Main street closed?? If people wanted to walk, in protest of the light sentences that are handed down to people for severe animal abuse.. could we get Main Street Closed???I would have to believe that if one group can do it, it should be the same if the KKK wanted to march, or anyone at all...I won't even get into how hypocritical Most of the walkers are... so don't even ask me...

While the debate of who is right and who is wrong will never be solved with this topic. Tax dollars should not fund abortion, that is unconstitutional.

Contango
Tue, 01/22/2013 - 4:01pm

IMO, abortion on demand should either be handled as a Constitutional Amend. or a States' rights issue.

States' rights is how the gay marriage issue is unfolding and IMO, abortion on demand should be no different.

We have 50 laboratories of democracy. One-size-fits-all diktats amounts to tyranny of the majority over the minority.

If the Progressives want to abort themselves into extinction - so be it.

It amazes me that the politicians pushing more gun controls and groups supporting them are the same ones that want abortions for any reason at any time.
In the US we have an average over 3,200 abortions a day, That equals 160+ Sandy hook shootings a day
Both are tragedies but which one is still happening EVERY DAY?

spoiled3
