Oh darn... Dropped my phone ??
Wow. Really Jimbo2? No concern for the driver? Do you know the facts of this case? No you dont. She hit a patch of black ice which is known for being on that stretch of highway. She was on her way to school!
Wow! Really Jimbo2? Any concern for the driver?
Looks like the milan fire dept needs to have some training classes, and Bobs needs to have recovery classes and safety classes. The fireman that is in the pictures of the vehicle being recovered is right over top of the cable if it snaps its going to cut his head off or slice him in two no matter how good the cable is you cant see inside of it for any internal flaws . Fire fighter or not the tow truck operator should have made him stand clear not to mention the tow truck operator is standing with the cable between his legs a flat bed is not the truck to use for this kind of recovery but if you have to use it the bed should be on the ground not off the ground good way to tear up your equipment. I have a towing co and if I caught one of my drivers letting people that close to the cable I wouldn't care if it was a firefighter or another employee, not using equipment properly or putting him/her self in immediate danger by standing over top of the cable they would be fired . This is how people get hurt or killed because proper safety procedures were not followed . I hope the driver is ok and i hope Bobs and the Milan fire dept see this and rethink their operating and safety protocol
The guardrail should have prevented the vehichle from leaving the road. Rotten posts proved otherwise.
