Cedar Point work - Main gate being demolished; GateKeeper elements completed

GateKeeper is quickly moving toward Cedar Point’s main gate.

Workers are demolishing the main gate area and have begun the foundation for two 100-foot tall keyhole towers that will transform the entrance. Riders will narrowly slot through these keyholes and fly directly over the main gate, adding to the suspense.

The Wing Over Drop, Immelmann and Camelback elements are now complete. More exciting inversions are on the way, including the Zero-G-Roll and In-Line-Roll.

Testing is expected to take place this spring, and the ride is scheduled to open May 11.
